Housekeeping & Supplies

For our short term guests we have Kleenex, paper towels, toilet tissue, garbage bags, dish washing soap, and laundry detergent available at the front desk.  Departure clean is provided on all rental reservations.  A complimentary midweek trash removal and towel change is available on rentals 7 nights or more.

Pets

No pets allowed with the exception of service dogs.

Trash

Please deposit all trash in the receptacles located on the property.  Please refrain from placing trash outside your door.

Barbeque Grills

Propane grills are acceptable. Due to a Town of Avon ordinance, charcoal and wood burning barbeque grills are not allowed.

Fireplace

Always make sure that the flue is open before starting a fire.  In units A-Q, the flue is open to the right and closed to the left.  Units R-Z and 1-32, it is the opposite.  The flue devise is located at the top center of the fireplace opening.  After the fire has ignited, be sure to close the wire mesh screen to contain sparks.

Noise and Disturbances

Please be considerate of your fellow guests in regards to noise.  In consideration of guests staying below you, please remove ski boots at the front door.  To report a disturbance, call “0” during office hours.  After hours, call the Avon Police Department at 748-4040 (weekday) or 479-2200 (weekend). 

Smoke Alarms

If your smoke alarm activates due to excessive smoke caused by cooking or a closed flue, open windows and doors.

Heater Operation

The kitchen and living room area is controlled by a wall thermostat in the living room.  The entry hall and bedrooms have heat controls located on the end of the baseboard heaters.  Please do not place pillows, clothes, bedspreads or other flammable items near these electric heaters.  Please call the Front Desk with additional questions.
