It is a fantastic unit. It is well located and very convenient to the Beaver Creek ski facility. You can catch a shuttle service a couple of blocks from the unit to the ski slopes, and it is my understanding that the shuttle will actually stop in the unit's parking lot in 2011. The unit is nicely decorated and spacious. Also, the facilities, hot tub, etc. are great. There are many nice restaurants close by. We intend to make our trip from Florida to this unit an annual event. Posted by: Rick Buell on 08/17/10 very reasonable price. Stayed 06/05/2010 - 07/25/2010 at Unit: M-4 In 2008 we rented condo M-4 and stayed there with my parents. It was a great condo at a very reasonable price. We were close to all of things we needed to do. A nice neighborhood type grocery store was just a few block away as well as the Beaver Creek liquour store that have some of the Spanish wines that my wife and I like. So last summer (2009) we were able to rent the same condo (M-4)and this time our son and daughter-in-law joined us. The kitchen, the bedrooms each with access to a bathroom and the fireplace were absolutely great!! We had a wonderful time. The had a great balcony that over looked the pool. We enjoyed 3 very beautiful sunrises and in the afternoon spent very relaxing time in the pool and spa. We were close to everything we wanted to do. My eldest son lives in Edwards and works in Vail so the location was perfect for us to visit him. My wife and I would be honored to spend another weekend at this great establishment!! We actually had little contact with BCW staff but when we did they were always helpful and cheerful. Thanks for this opportunity to compete for a weekend. Sincerely, Bruce Venner Posted by: Bruce Venner on 01/19/10 Very cozy and up to date Stayed 09/18/2009 - 09/20/2009 at Unit: #13 We stayed for a lovely long weekend. The condo was decorated so nice. Very cozy and up to date. The kitchen was large and so were all the bedrooms. The beds were so comfortable! I could have stayed longer! We were able to walk to dinner and shopping as well. The view of the pines were beautiful from the balconey. Every morning we were greeted by the same bird! I would definately stay here again! Posted by: Vanessa Mateer on 01/18/10 We will go back Stayed 03/12/2009 - 03/16/2009 at Unit: Unit #13 This unit is very comfortable! Updated with natural feel and convenient to lift! We will go back to this unit! Posted by: Peggy Tornow on 01/17/10 Excellent Value Stayed 02/15/2010 - 02/19/2010 at Unit: D-3 We have been skiing at Beaver Creek for over ten years and have stayed at several different condo properties, some quite expensive. For the past 5 years we have stayed at Beaver Creek West. Each year we explore other opportunities but have never found anything better. We feel it is an excellent value. The units have always been well-appointed and clean. The staff has been more than helpful in making our stays enjoyable. We love the location as it is convenient to the lifts and restaurants. If there is a better place to stay in Beaver we have not found it. Thanks, John H. Drought Posted by: john drought on 01/14/10 Our best Winter Vacation! Stayed 03/21/2008 - 03/28/2008 Our best Winter Vacation! Our family wanted to take a winter vacation over Easter. I had previously visited Avon, Co with a friend and knew the area was great. So I started my internet seach to find a condo. I instantly landed on the Beaver Creek West website. It was great and allowed me to virtually tour the property and each available unit online. I located a very nice "Standard" 2 bedroom unit that was perfect for our family. Beaver Creek West also offered a trip insurance policy. This was very important to me given we have aging parents and it is a long way from Raleigh, NC to Avon, Co. I was a little nervous about renting site unseen, so I made numerous phone calls to the resort. Every time I called, I received great and very helpfull customer service. So I booked the trip site unseen. When we arrived on property, I was extremely pleased. Everything about the property was just as it was depicted on the internet. The staff was very helpful in orientating us to the property as well as the area. I was also very pleased that the unit was just as it was pictured online. It was very clean and had all the amentities feautred online including king bed in master, queen bed and bunk beds in second bedroom, wood burning fireplace and BBQ on the patio. This was truly an excellent "home away from home". That was very important to us because not everyone in our party were big skiers. The only thing I regret was not brining our bathing suits. The hot tubs looked very inviting. This would also be an excellent property to stay during the summer with nice tennis courts and large pool. The views were fantastic with the lake and mountains in the background. Another important factor of Beaver Creek West is convenience. It is located just a short shuttle from the parking lot to the ski lift. You can also take a short shuttle ride to the Beaver Creek mountain or even to Vail. We really liked this with teenagers. They could take the shuttle up the mountain in the evenings while the adults stayed in after an wonderfully exhausting day of skiing. There were so many other convenient activities. We enjoyed the sledding but other options included ice skating and snow mobile rides. There were also many great dining, shopping and rental options in town. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Beaver Creek West is family affordable and a top rated property overall! We hope to visit again real soon. Posted by: Sylvia Richards on 01/13/10 Posted By Janiece Ferrell on 01/11/10 Stayed 02/11/2009 - 02/17/2010 at Unit: I do not recall - reservation under Stephen Ferrell, on 3rd floor Our family will never stay in a hotel in the Beaver Creek area again, after the wonderful experience we had at the Beaver Creek West Condominiums! Our condo was very comfortable, with high-end appliances, kitchen supplies, TVs, DVDs, and a variety of family games. It was also immaculately clean! The furnishing were all up-to-date, and very eye-appealing. The large elevators made it very easy to load our family of 4 and gear (or luggage) all in one trip, rather than having to make multiple trips or taking the stairs. That was great to come home to after an exhausting day on the slopes! It was so easy to go to the slopes, via the convenient bus line that is so close. We also had a rental car, but chose to use the bus because it was actually less hassle than driving. My husband and 4-year old daughter LOVED playing in the snow outside our condo, and my 2-year old and I were able to watch them from our balcony while staying cuddly warm! They had a great time having snowball fights, making snow angels, playing frisbee, and other games. There's no better choice for families who want a homestyle, yet upscale experience, when visiting the Beaver Creek area. Condo at Beaver Creek West Stayed 01/10/2010
When we booked our trip to Vail and our condo at Beaver Creek West we had no idea that the affordable condo we were getting would be so spacious and luxurious and the property was full of amenities. We were really excited about the kitchen amenities! Nothing but the best. And the condo was so cozy. My girls were so excited to have a heated swimming pool with snow surrounding it! The Hot Tub and sauna were key for my husband and I. And although it wasn't ski-in/ski-out it was so easy to get to Beaver Creek and Vail with the bus stop right there at the entrance of the compex. We truly enjoyed that the park was the backyard where we all spent an evening ice skating on the lake; we felt like the park was
"ours" and enjoyed many morning walks around that lake. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we hope to get back again soon. Posted by: Ruth Stanley on 01/10/10 Very nice place to stay Stayed 01/08/2010 - 01/09/2010 at Unit: M-4 This is my second stay at BeaverCreek West condominum. Traveling with large parties; I find this place very nice; like home away from home (large rooms, great living room, fire place). Very good facilities. Posted by: Valentin L. Gonzalez on 01/09/10 very pleasant stay Stayed 12/27/2008 - 01/01/2009 We had a very pleasant stay over the New Year's holiday. The condo was clean, well-equipped, and very close to the Beaver Creek ski area. Our dealings with the management were also efficient and easy. Hope to stay again sometime! Posted by: Emiliano Martinez on 01/08/10 pool and hot tubs Stayed 12/24/2010 - 01/01/2010 at Unit: 13 I love the proximity to the gondola. The pool and hot tubs are a real plus. Condo was comfortable and well equiped Posted by: Trece ODonnell on 01/07/10 Beaver Creek West the best value Stayed 01/15/2008 - 01/19/2008 at Unit: three bedroom three bath unit. We have stayed at Beaver Creek West twice now and everywhere else we go we still can't find a comparable choice that offers better amenities and facilities so convenient to all of the slopes. We have been to Park City, Lake Tahoe and still feel not only was Beaver Creek West the best value money wise, but the facilities and staff were tops. It is very comforting to know that you have everything you need except your clothes and food when you walk in the door. The rentals are always super clean, comfortable and roomy. We have stayed in teh two bedroom and last year rented a three bedroom unit. We are definately coming back next year and staying at Beaver Creek West. Posted by: Steven Riccobono on 01/07/10 Overall, a great time Stayed 02/12/2009 - 02/15/2009 We stayed at the Beaver Creek West condos for the last 3 years and have had a great time. BCW offers you the chance to stay at a resort with great rates and still get the great ammenities of staying closer to the base of the mountian. The shuttles that get you to/from the mountain are frequent and very convenient to both Vail and Beaver Creek. Additionally, BCW is very close to many restaurants, shops, and sporting stores within the Avon area. Overall, a great time and I hope we can come back again this year. Posted by: Scott Shapiro on 01/07/10 Beaver Creek West as part of our history Stayed 04/07/2007 - 01/14/2007 at Unit: h2 We have stayed at Beaver Creek West 4 times and each was a memoriable experience. The best part is that you feel like your at a private residence. We enjoyed reading the guest books and seeing how other people saw their expeience. We also loved the facility. The sauna, spas and pool were not wasted on these Florida residents. The staff was always polite and helpful. We've stayed during summer and winter and had a wonderful time in both seasons. Our family sees Beaver Creek West as part of our history and consider it a home away from home. Posted by: tony sinatra on 01/07/10 terrific stay at Beaver Creek West Condo's Stayed 10/01/2006 - 10/03/2006 We had a terrific stay at Beaver Creek West Condo's. We were in Vail for a soccer tournament in October (either 3 or 4 years ago I believe) and the condo was much bigger than I had anticipated and fit our group nicely. It was 3 mom's and 3 daughters who shared a 3 bedroom condo and there were bunk beds in 1 room for all the girls to share with plenty of space for their "stuff". The beds were all comfortable, the bathrooms were plenty big for all of us, the living room was a great size for all of us to hang out in at night too. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals and the dining room table was very roomy so we could all sit down together for dinner and have a great time! The girls used the pool along with the other kids from our team and it was large enough to handle our large group. We loved the push button lock on the door so we didn't have to worry about the kids losing keys! There was never a problem finding a parking spot out front. Our soccer fields were all over the Vail Valley and we were never more than a few minutes away with our location. We also enjoyed a quick trip into Beaver Creek which is only a 5 minute drive. All in all, we had a terrific weekend and the condo absolutely met and exceeded all of our expectations! My daughter's team moved out of the category to make them eligible to play in the tournament so we were unable to return so we haven't been back, but the mom's in my group still say it was the best time we've had at a tournament to date and the accommodations had a lot to do with that.
